David Overton, Ph.D., is a playwright, scholar, director, and educator specializing in literature, theatre, ethics, and performance studies. His scholarly work has appeared in peer-reviewed journals with research focusing on ethics in performance, pedagogy, mythology, masculinity studies, and literary analysis. A member of Actors’ Equity Association and SAG-AFTRA, he teaches literature, writing, and theatre at New York City area colleges.
